Bicycle Film Festival London

So we went to the London Bicycle Film Festival last weekend to watch Yorgo's film and to play in the bike polo tourney. We had three teams: Nettto Superstars, ASBO Polo and The Mango Sharks... plus I reff'd a court.

The films were well ace even the bit where we all shouted "Bikes Rock" but Adam's constant commentry and whoops of excitement at any fixie tricks was the bestest bit..and we all loved the film about scraper bikes.

Then on Sunday we all went to play polo!

There is a new campaign starting in Manchester against a local arms company. The company is called Brimar and it makes lcd displays and other components for display equipment. Its products are in service in conflicts across the globe. As the company proudly say on their website, "War fighters around the world rely on Brimar products every day". The devices that it makes have been used in the commission of human rights abuses in a number of current war zones - Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan.
